Massage Hop Launches Kama’aina Club at Kona Town Night Market

On August 4th, Massage Hop promoted its Kama’aina Club to local residents at the Kona Town Night Market with great success. Our plan: to entice people into our massage chairs at a rate of $1/minute, and get them to fall in love with our work. Our local community works hard to live in paradise, and so often leaves self- care to the island guests who come here from the world over for salubrity.

Massage Hop would like to change that, but here we were asking for something in return.  For Kama’aina who would like to truly make massage therapy a part of their lives, we came up with very attractive yearly pricing plans.  If our local residents commit to themselves, so will we.  If Kama’aina can agree to a monthly charge of less than the average cell phone bill, we will delivery one massage to you each month at a day and time of your choosing.

There are three plans, each extremely competitive.  Here’s a screenshot of the marketing piece we created for the event:

 For Kama’aina who would like to try our service before committing to a year’s worth of massage treatments, we offer a one-off Kama’aina rate of $85 plus tax.  Even at that rate, you will be hard-pressed to find a more affordable price anywhere that performs out-call massage treatments.

The Kona Town Night Market was a huge success for us.  We came away with new clients, and new friends.  Most people, of course, did not become Kama’aina Club members, and that’s okay.  We still got to provide relief to so many individuals who otherwise would have gone without a much needed moment of recuperative self-care.  For those that did sign up, it could not be any simpler.  We held their credit card on file, and will charge it on the first of each month.  We call, we make an appointment that works with their schedule, we arrive at that time, and we deliver world class massage to their door.
